He graduated from the Department of Management Engineering at Istanbul Technical University. Güven began his career in the Treasury Department of Turkish Bank as a Dealer (1996–1997), followed by the same position at Ulusal Bank (1997–1998). He subsequently served as Chief Dealer at Osmanlı Bankası (1998–2001) and held Manager and Director positions in the Treasury Department of Türk Ekonomi Bankası (2002–2016). Güven joined Alternatif Bank on February 8, 2017, as Deputy General Manager responsible for Treasury, and has concurrently served on the Board of Directors of Alternatif Menkul Değerler since March 2017. In September 2019, he was appointed Deputy General Manager responsible for Treasury and Financial Institutions. In October 2026, he was appointed to the Board of Directors of Alternatif Lease.
